He was in the beta. When it first started images were working. I got in the beta too late to set mine. :(

Uploaded it earlier in the beta, but now I can't change it. None of the image buttons work, even if you want to insert one into a post.

Amazing how much not seeing an avatar throws off being able to recognize people. I'm used to seeing Solid being Snake, GME as he-man, Mirko as Batman... now I have to actually bother looking at the names.

Not seeing Link when dvader posts will feel like some kind of horrible sin.

The switch has caused a bunch of weird/old spam threads to show up. Knocking them down as best as I can.

Well all of the mod board threads pop up on the front page when brand new in popular posts section the last few hours, and one of them said the newest mods mod status did not transfer correctly. Those threads can also be read on people profiles last I checked, likely something they should do something about. I know from experience things are said in there not meant for the general public to see.

Gamespot following the great tradition of making the site worse with every new iteration. So many shitty, useless features, and they get rid of the one feature I actually used (looking up your post history to see which threads got new posts).

Remember when Gamespot had a pretty decent advanced search, that allowed to you search games by genre, platform, year, score, etc. using little boxes (so you could look up, for example, every FPS from 2002 to 2004 on PC and PS2)? Nah, who needs that. WE HAVE WALLS NOW! That we can sync to Twitter!

I'm leaning that way too. Having to wade through each board to find where I posted is a pain. I don't post all that regularly, but it was always nice seeing the new posts column in my history. Made following a discussion that much easier.

Hmm, there's a "watched topics" feature on the right of the main forum page that kind of replaces that feature. It's much less useful though (doesn't say how many new posts, for example), but at least they didn't get rid of it altogether.

Temporary work around for your avatar here. Can also be used for image uploading in forum replies.
