Rarest I have is a complete EVO the Search For Eden for super nintendo, box, manual, inserts, game, plastic sleeves, everything like its brand new.

It's also up for sale on amazon if you're willing to pay the price for it : )

You can go to a more specialized or dedicated sites where they only talk about games hardly anybody mention here, if that's your fancy. But even in those at least in my experience I hardly ever agree with what the average user seems to think just like here.

I agree somewhat, I asked about actual rare games but hey I'm not really fussed, I actually enjoy seeing what other people have.

I have Shenmue II for Dreamcast, still sealed.=D Sells for, like, $300 on eBay last time I checked.

The title simply asks for what the rarest game we own is, doesn't mean it has to be the rarest of the rare. Age has absolutely nothing to do with it, it's more to do with how lucky you were in picking up the right game at the right time.

I guess Ehrgeiz and FF7 but those aren't really rare just a little more expensive. I used to own Marvel vs Capcom 2 but I sold it once it cam out on XBLA.

Probably my cassette version of Airborne Ranger for the Commodore 64 from 1987. Took a while to load but what a great game.

the rarest game i own is The Legend Of Zelda: Links Awakening DX

^probably this...but I'm not really sure how rare this is. It is for Gamecube and it comes with 4 old zelda games including Majora's Mask and Ocarina or Time. I don't think this was ever sold in stores (like Gamestop) but rather it was bundled with the Gamecube for a short period of time.

I'm not sure about exact "rareness" in industry terms, but a bunch of my PSone RPGs seem to fetch $100-$160 on ebay quite frequently:

Valkyrie Profile, Suikoden II, Tales of Destiny I & II, Persona I & II etc.

Earthbound for me. Picked it up about 4 years ago for 50 bucks on ebay.

Mine has to be Shantae for the gameboy color. I'm super excited for the sequel on DSIware

I have a black box sealed Super Mario World with the v-seam that goes between $1200-$2000 usually on Ebay. I also have Starfox, Battletoads Double Dragon, Super R-Type, and Bubsy sealed, but they don't go for that kind of cash.billyd5301
