Getting lost in a huge minecraft cavern, and not knowing the way out. I was also playing with self-imposed difficult rules regarding torches, so I basically just wandered around for 20 mins, running in circles (while slowly being killed by monsters), until a spider ambushed me and dealt the fatal blow (fall off of a high cliff).
I also had no idea where to find the stuff I dropped, so I lost that too.
I remember back in Wrath of the Lich Ling, I farmed heroics for months to get a really good shoulder for my priest. When I finally got it, guildies told me I should have saved for similar gear that would be available shortly. I felt so cheated and guilty that I stopped playing World of Warcraft.
pokemon going threw caves and such was so annoying like in red blue yellow.looking for articuno in the caves uhhhhhhhhhhggggg.then i had to find my way out and you cant just take the same route back.....
The biggest mistake in gaming is to keep experimenting with new characters without excelling with the first.
That was a great game, I had no problem paying full price for that game.Paid actual money for Far Cry 2.
SteamedBennet
Ouch, must have been expensive. The 3DO did have a few good games..Buying a Panasonic 3DO!

I sometimes screw up my save files. Liek I did it in Fallout 3 a lot. Manual save over my other saves and screwed myself over so now I can't go back earlier in the game. silentnightmereI saved over a complete S rank on every hardness setting on the first Devil May Cry :(

In GTA 4 i went on a date with kate and accidentally shot everyone in the bar....she never called backtobes1993
How do you accidentally shoot everyone? I imagine it might have been some kind of accident where the dart Kate threw bounced off something, sticking you in your hand causing your nerves to spasm therefore pulling the trigger of an AR you happen to have in your hand. hehe...

Buying Legendary for $30, playing it all day in order to beat it and return it within the 24 hours limit and then finally deciding it to keep it
Deleting my PS3 backup saved games folder on a SD memory instead of erasing the update folder.
Mass Druids of the Talon against Undead (kinda forgot and i though i was facing Orcs)... then Destroyers... destroyed me.

Buying tons of games, FF13, FF10 and FF10-2 being the biggest mistakes.

Had a bunch of weapons in The Witcher 2 and started selling them and accidentally sold my best sword. I basically went ape ****
My biggest mistake in gaming would be buying up some japanese games because I wanted to try something different, but quickly realised I had wasted a lot of money because I cannot stand japanese games, anime, even the voice acting causes me to cringe. The most japanese games I have ever played and liked are Metal Gear Solid series and Resident Evil.
No Street Fighter, no disagae or whatever, no demon's souls, valkyria chronicles, no final fantasy. I REALLY hate japanese games. Although Resident Evil 4 is one of the greatest games ever made in my opinion.
Didn't prepare enough for the final battle in Dragon Age: Origins and only had one save. I had to replay the entire game just beat it. I went into battle with the Archdemon using extremely weak armor and weapons and had only four health potions left. I don't even know how I made it that far like that.
Allowing my Wii to be stolen. Obviously it wasn't my fault, but I still was stupid for putting it in my checked baggage rather than my carry-on.
Also, playing the original Pokemon Red, training a pokemon for ~3 hours, and then having my Game Boy's battery die on me. 3 hours I'll never get back.
The biggest mistake I can think of on hand is... murdering Juhani on Dantooine during my Jedi training in KoTOR.
This was the first time I was really getting into RPGs. The mission, as you probably know, was to defeat and talk some sense into the cat woman. I did the defeating part pretty good, then she was being a whiny ***** and wallowing in self pity. And I didn't understand there was no such thing as bluffing and I kind of said, "Fine, I guess I'll just kill you then" to motivate her. She didn't take that kindly.
Only after I consulted a walkthrough did I realize Juhani was a fully-fledged party member, not some useless NPC.
Also in Dragon Age 2, I elected to solo the
Arishok
with my sword/shield warrior tank. I beat him, but that was a good 20 minutes of swearing at my computer and Bioware.
When i bought a brand new XENON Xbox360 which is on sale that time ( December 2008 ) its just about $250.00. I didn't believe all the forums that XBOX360 Xenon are prone to 3rl. because I believe that time that "why would a Giant and Established Company Microsoft make a console that will breakdown in few months time?" I mean, even China made DVD players here in our country last for at least a year. Fortunately, my xbox console lasted for 4 months!!!!!!!!!!! ****
Im the almost 20 years I play games the biggest mistake I ever made was buying a 3DS on launch >__> Of actual ingame stuff, I don't know, there's a lot, so I go with my first memory. It was a Asterix game on the Master System iirc, there was a lava level at the end of it and my family and I always ended up ding at the same spot over and over again aand just after several days we realised that we did it false, we had to duck instead of jumping or something like that. After the part the game was over and the ending was rather disappointng
