What were you playing 10-years ago? 15-years ago???

I was just wondering what everyone was playing around this time 10-years ago, and also 15-years ago if you can remember that far back?

Fall 2001- I was playing Shenmue for the first time, and I also remember I was really into Perfect Dark and Final Fantasy VII and VIII.

Fall 1996- It is harder for me to remember, mostly because I was so exciting about the N64 coming out. But I believe I was playing Donkey Kong Country 2 and Super Street Fighter 2.

1996-.....................64 i think? if it was in this time frame then most likely ocarina of time and star fox.

I had just finished final fantasy 10, which was the first ps2 game I bought. It was right around this time that I bought Mark of Kri, that was a good game, probably haven't really played it in 10 years.

1996 - Gaming lull for me, I was in high school and "too old" to play games anymore.

Fall 01: It's harder to remember for me because I able to get and play more games at once then. The last few games I really remember getting into before PS2/GC(didn't get a Xbox until 02) were Final Fantasy IX, Lunar 2: Eternal Blue, and Banjo Tooie.

Fall 96: I'm pretty sure I was playing Super Mario RPG and I'm sure Mario Kart and Turtles in Time fit in, I played those a lot then. Later when the 64 came out and I got it for Christmas I abandoned the SNES for some time playing Super Mario 64.

2001? i had quit gaming because my life turned into garbage..

Ten years ago, almost to the day, I was playing GTA III on the PC.

Fifteen years ago, again almost to the day, I was playing C&C Red Alert on the PC.

10 years ago would have been my first Gamcube game, Wave Race Blue Storm, 15 years ago Killer Instinct Gold on the Nintendo 64, and Final Fantasy 7 on the first Sony Playstation. Super Nintendo games as well I have had 9 Snes systems during my lifetime. So I have played Super NES 10 and 15 years ago. As well as the current consoles of the day.

Let's see, in 2001 I had a PS1 and a Dreamcast. So I was playing the following:

15 years ago I was 3 but I started playing Donkey Kong Country 2 around then. 10 Years ago I was still playing Perfect Dark and playing FFX.

Ooof that's a stretch of the memory right there =D Let's see, 2001...that's around early PS2...probably alot of Metal Gear Solid 2 and Grand Theft Auto III, lol. 1996....early PS1...Resident Evil, like a whole lotta Resident Evil. Kinda makes me wanna playthrough it again just thinkin' about it =D

10 Years ago I was playing Resident Evil 2, Sonic Adventure 2 and Soul Caliber for the Dreamcast. I believe the production of the Dreamcast ended in 2001, but it didn't matter, I'd continue to play that system like it was 1999!

96-Hard to say. Pobably some SNES games.

It's a bit hard to remember. I think I was playing about ten years ago, since I got my first game and game system (a GBA with Pokemon Gold) in 2001. As for 15 years ago, I'm only 16 now, so I wasn't playing games yet when I was that young.

well 10 years ago i was finishing up college. I dont remember playing video games that much because I was busy chasing women and partying. I probably played my ps1. I had Diehard trilogy, Jet moto, twisted metal, Air combat, and a few other games. I think I got my ps2 that christmas, and then in spring 02 I finally got GTA III and played that and Burnout2 ALL the time.

15 years ago I was in Highschool and I played my genesis/32X all the time. A buddy of mine would play NBA Jam on genesis and Virtua Racing Deluxe on the 32x. soon after that I got a ps1 and I sold a lot of my genesis games. If i remember right, this was when I started to rent games here and there, but I rarely bought any.

10 years ago, I was playing (I think) the original PlayStation and N64. 15 years ago, I was playing the Super Nintendo Entertainment System.

I was playing the orginal super smash brothers, waiting for super smash brothers melee to come out in december 10 years ago.

Fall 01: I still was playing PS1, N64 and GBC

Games at the time I believe are Oracle of Ages/Seasons, Tony Hawk's Proskater 4 and Goldeneye.

Fall 96: I had a SNES at the time but I don't think I was really much of a gamer then.

10 years ago was 2001, so I probably played Playstation and some PC; games were probably V-rally, Tekken 1 & 2, Final fantasy VII, Starcraft, Delta Force etc

15 years ago was 1996 so Imostly played Thrash Metal butI had a Playstation with Wipeout, Battle Arena Toshinden, Kileak the blood uhm and I played Amiga games as well.

playing gta 3, that I secretly unwrapped for sintekrlaas president well before december 5th. I even invited friends over to play it. man was that awesome. a dream come true, gta 3d.

Can't remember but probably NHL 2001/2002

Ten years ago, I was still playing Goldeneye on N64. I can't think of what PC games I was playing. Fifteen years ago, I was playing Diablo on PC and Mario 64 on N64.

Lets see. 10 years ago around now, I would have been playing Dragon Quest 7, Golden Sun, Pool of Radiance: Ruins of Myth Drannor, and maybe Record of Lodoss War for DC.

15 years ago about now, I believe I'd have been playing either Mystaria (Blazing Heroes) or Dragon Force, and maybe Philosoma for PS1.

0-- well i lived in mexico and owned a n64 so i played alot of mario 64 diddy kong racing banjo tooie and mostly all good n64 games. also my parents used to own a little store so we had kof 98 and metal slug x so i got free play and well im just a kof and metal slug junkie now and i mostly would prefer the arcades than n64

I was playing TLoZ Majora's Mask, Chrono Cross, Breath of Fire IV, Final Fantasy VIII, Mega Man X5 and Tekken 3 in 2001. As for 1996 a lot of SNES and Genesis games like Sonic, Mario, Zombies ate my Neighbors, Street Fighter 2, Mega Man X, Donkey Kong Country, Killer Instinct, MK2 and more.

2001 - Probably pokemon and a bunch of N64 games. Oh how I loved N64 back in the day.

1996 - Nothing because I was 3

2001-I got a ps1 for christmas of 2000 so that was really fresh and new...Introduced to a game called Gran Turismo
1996-I was playing NES at my Grandpas... Super Mario Bros. 1997 was the first time I owned a console...the SNES.

Well 10 years ago i was playing the Spyro games on the PS1 and 15 years ago i was playing my first videogame and that game was Sonic The Hedgehog for the Sega Genesis Ahhhhhh the memories:)
