What was the first game you played in 2014? I do not mean what the first new game you bought was. .... simply, what was the first game that you played in 2014, even if you have already had that game for years.

First for me was Grand Theft Auto 5.

Last I played was Ryse.

Still going for that level 100 achievement. God, how much I hate grindy achievements.

Well, I downloaded Sleeping Dogs on the 360 for free... does that count?

I haven't played Persona 4, but I am currently near the end of the Persona 4 Animation, and it's absolutely terrific. The first game I played in 2014 was, predictably enough, Killer Instinct.

The Last of Us. So far I am completely enthralled with it. I want to move forward and see what's going to happen next, yet I don't so I can explore. It's lived up to it's billing and my expectations of it.

Star Wars: The Old Republic, which was quite frequented on both UK/US servers all New Year's night.

Fortunately, servers weren't under attack then, either... ("_";)

Final Fantasy X or Final Fantasy VIII, your pick.... but if i were to choose which i play first, it would be X.

AC4 i started it boxing day but put it down for a week until new years day where i just went for it, and had a massive play session, and i tell you what i really am enjoying it and i hate the AC series, but the pirate setting is just to go to miss out on
