What Resident Evil games do you own/have you played?

I just finished Darkside Chronicles and was searching for an old copy of Resident Evil 0 when I stumbled across a game I didn't realise I had... Resident Evil Gaiden. TBH I can't even remember playing it. Anyway one thing led to another and I realised just how many games and spinoffs there were. So which of the following do you have? Have I missed any? What's your favourite?

I only have Resident Evil Outbreak: File 2.

I didn't play much of it but I remember getting killed by a zombie elephant that bust through the window while I was walking around in a building. Probably the funniest way I've ever died in a video game.

Just Resident Evil 4 Wii Edition, I bought REmake on GC but I really didn't like it so I returned it :P

Own Resident Evil 4. Played it through 5 times and co-oped Resident Evil 5 with a friend on 360. I enjoyed the demo of Revelations on the 3DS so I'm hoping to pick it up on Black Friday/Cyber monday

I've played RE 1,2,3, and half of RE Code Veronica. I still own RE 1,and RE 3 Nemesis.

i've played REmake, RE2, RE4 (GCN and Wii), RE5, and umbrella chronicles.

honestly, i don't like REmake and RE2. the camera and controls create tension that doesn't stem from the characters. it just feels so frustrating to be in a well lit hallway and not be able to see the zombie right in front of me. it makes the game more of an adversary than the zombie.

of the later games, i adore RE4 (on the GCN, but much less so on the Wii with that nasty reticule). it did a lot to sure up the mechanics, but the brilliant level design would have made it a better game anyway. RE5 lost it for me though. it felt like RE4 imitation brand.

Only the first one. I friend lent it to me in school. The first cutscene spooked me. I switched it off. Haven't played it since.

I'd say Resident Evil 2, 4, and 6 are my favourites of the series.

Played through Resident Evil 4 about 2 1/2 times on the PS2. It got a bit too easy with the infinite ammo rocket launcher.

Played RE5 for about one evening on the PS3. Maybe someday I'll play through the whole thing...but probably not.

I had RE6, but traded it in after beating it. Not much replay value there.

Outbreak is the only game that I haven't played yet out of my collection. My favorite one is RE2.

I've only played Resident Evil 5. It's amazing, and I've been meaning to play Resident Evil 4 but haven't got around to it. Resident Evil 6 is an awful sequel and I won't be getting it.

Wow. Lot's of impressive lists there. Not surprisingly it seems 2 and 4 are the favourites.

I was curious though; for those who hated the controls in #1, when did you play it? When it first came out or later on in the piece?

I love #1 however I played it when it first came out so was a lot more forgiving of these flaws.

I have - RE: Director's Cut. RE2 for the PS1, N64, and PC. I had a hard copy of RE3 but it disappeared, so I bought it on PSN. Code Veronica for the Dreamcast, and also on PSN. REmake and RE0 on Gamecube, plus REmake for the Wii as well (and honestly I hope it gets a re-release on the Wii-U that makes use of the tablet controller). RE4 for the Gamecube, and RE4HD on PSN. RE5 Gold Edition. RE:ORC, and RE: Revelations which was brilliant and needs a console release so more people get to experience this amazing game.

I haven't gotten around to RE6 yet as the demo left me unimpressed, though I'm sure when I get it I'll enjoy it just fine. If you would have told me a year ago I would forego RE6 and preorder the new Call of Duty I would have laughed and then smacked you.
