What do you think about airline tycoon games?

Hi, I'm Matthew and I represent the developers group called Airlineo. We'd like to create the tycoon game where player run a airline. There is lots of that kind of games - e.g. Airline Tycoon II or couple online versions. We played these games, We had felt disappointed. These games were boring, because you can't compete with real players or it looks like websites in 1990s. These games sucks... So I'd like to ask you about your expectations in tycoon games. What pisses you off in these games? Would you like to play tycoon games with your friends? How do you want to cooperate with them? What's missing in these games? I'm not sure a tycoon game centered around airplanes would really be fun. I mean I could be wrong but I'm trying to imagine what you would really do in that kind of game and I can't think of anything. Things like Zoo Tycoon and Rollercoaster Tycoon are kind of cool because amusement parks and zoos are in themselves fun places and I just don't see that with an airport. I mean I could be wrong there could be a bunch of people who would want to simulate owning an airport, can't know for sure until you try I suppose. But if it were me I'd rethink making this game.

Thank you for your opinion. In my opinion the most important thing is show players airplanes on the map. You can click it and instruct airplane to do a flight. We'll try to create it in this way.

1. Airline Tycoon 2 is suck. It's boring and the graphics was too heavy for my computer! Imagine that, I play Flight Simulator X with maximum settings and never get that kind of problems! 2. You should take example from Airline Tycoon Evolution, The graphics was 1999, but the game itself was addicted 3. We need real situation about the Airline Industry. People getting sick playing with fake stuff. We need real specifications of Airplane, the real price in the real world, or the actual range and speed of the aircraft. We need game with realistic components. 4. Realistic graphics is better than detailed graphics! 5. Make sure you know the insight of Aviation industry before you make this kind of game, if you make funny tycoon games for kids 5+ then it wouldn't sell well, you need to target people who is 13+ who is enthusiastic with aviation, cause by then you can actually making money since most of Aviation game are played by teenager and adult, not kids, so start to changed the labeled from Tycoon to something else
