Not really. It's more an eventual goal than an immediate one.

ps4 easily, with the estimated processing powers and leaked specs it has blown my mind away.

PS4 day 1 purchase. Then a 720 a few years later for exclusives. Not interested in Wii U

I'll be getting a PS4, then a WiiU. If Rare makes a proper Banjo sequel, I'll get Xbox too. (Though NnB was awesome)

Definitely a PS4 but 2 - 3 years after launch when the price drops as I'm sure the 1st few models will have some technical failures. Sony has never steered me wrong providing hours of entertainment since PS1. I may possibly purchase a Wii-U depending on their games. I have no interest in ever purchasing an X-box.

when i think about it i really only want the wii u for zelda and mario. so i might just borrow the console from a friend to play those and only buy the ps4lloveLamp

Xbox 720, PS4 or Wii U? I'm still debating on if I should get the Wii U or 720. Leaning towards the 720 though. What about you? :)

The Red PS3 Slim. That is it. I have Zero interest in "next gen"consoles.

PS4......M$ wont get a look in with me next gen.WiiU I would consider if Nintendo bring out some great new IP's(doubt that will happen though,just Mario,Zelda etc).

The more I'm discovering, the more unsettling it's becoming.  They all sound to have catches and drawbacks.  Depending on cost, right now the Steambox is looking pretty appealing.

Right now I'm much more inclined to go with Sony again, next gen.

Just like this gen I'll get all three. PS4 and Wii U for their exclusives and the Xbox 720 for everything else.Archangel3371

That's exactly what I do. I buy the Playstation for exclusives and XBOX for everything else. Plus the interface for XBOX has been so much easier to navigate. But, it's a whole new system now so we'll have to see. I do have quite a few XBOX games and, hopefully, the new XBOX will be backwards compatible.

My advice is don't waste your time and money on the Wii U. I'll probably buy a PS4 since I held off on buying a PS3. The next Xbox will eventually be purchased, but Sony has a lot more exclusives.

if what i'm hearing is true from the rumor mill, at the moment it's PS4. 

and so long as Sony continues with it's first party developers and allow for creative new IP's (laugh all you want if you don't believe me..) for it's platform then i'll be really happy with it. 

by new IP's i mean when Sony lets first party try something new, or goes second party. 

but i'll likely end up getting all of them eventually. 

the thing is i like sticking in as few ecosystems as possible. and i'm well entrenched in Sony's, followed by PC. 

in Sony i've been with them - pretty strongly with a huge library - from PS2, PS3, PSP Go, and PS Vita. and PC well mostly from the CD/DVD games but then Steam reignited my interest. 

don't have enough time in the day between all my other chores, responsiblities, and hobbies to able to really get into all of the systems. so likely the WiiU will be a late gen pick up for a dirt cheap price for whatever handful of Nintendo 1st party and the odd-interesting third party exclusive. Microsoft for whatever few unique titles they'll offer up.

which again,, if Xbox follows the same pattern, then i likely won't pick up the new Xbox. time exclusive deals and like 2 true exclusives that interest are not enough for me to purchase a system.

so next gen.. PS4 and PC followed with WiiU.

This gen I thought the 360 was a superb product and really happy with everything about it except having to buy gold cards.

I've come to the conclusion that I despise the Dualshock 3 and any system featuring that controller will not sell me no matter how good the rest of it is.

If the 720 ends up being an anti-consumer abusive piece of schit, then I guess I'll go for my second choice, PC gaming.

I'll be sticking with my PC. At least until the prices drop significantly on the consoles then I might buy them for the exceptionally good titles that are exclusive to them.
