All of these games are on PS3, I know because I own them all. Unless you were referring to the fact I accidently put Morrowind in my first post, I have since edited it to correctly read Oblivion... reread it and was like DOH!

I've got quite a few this time around. For starters, let me go ahead and say Borderlands 2. That game is the beast. It improved everything from the first game, then added an amazing story, considering what type of game it is. On top of that, a good bit of upcoming DLC is MORE CLASSES! Gears of War. Made by Epic Games, this series has quickly become one of my favorite. The campaign is gritty and intense, but that's one half of it. The multiplayer is just like those classic competitive shooters, like Unreal (same dev). No loadouts, killstreaks, anything like that. Just you, the guns on the map, and your foes. Add to that a good number of characters that you grow to love in the campaign, and things just can't get much better. Skyrim. While it may be extremely overrated, and still doesn't have all the old RPG elements that Morrowind had, it's one of the few amazing fantasy games that's on the Xbox. Sadly, it almost feels as though fantasy is starting to decline in modern games, but that won't stop Bethesda from making amazing Elder Scrolls games. This game can get old rather quickly, but there's so much to do, that you'll eventually be coming back to finish it. Not to mention it's easily one of the best looking games out there right now. Fallout 3 and New Vegas. While Fallout 3 is HIGHLY overrated, it's still a rather solid game. It took the classic Fallout games and brought them into modern gaming. While I hadn't played much of the previous Fallout games in the past, I still found this game to be fun, and it only increased my curiosity for past games, causing me to buy both Fallout 1 and 2. After playing all three, I quickly became a fan. When I heard about New Vegas, I wanted it right away. While it may have had more bugs than a termite infested loghouse, I felt it improved in every way from Fallout 3, aside from the graphics. It was a good step up, but I'm not sure it was worth the original $60 price, plus the cost of extra DLC. If anything, it should have been a little cheaper, considering it's not too different from FO3. XCom: Enemy Unknown. This game came out recently, but it quickly escalated to one of my favorite games, and now has more hours into it than most of my others. When I first heard about this game, I didn't know ANYTHING about the XCom series. I started looking it up, reading more about it and past games. It led me to buying XCom: UFO Defense on Steam, and putting several hours into that. After, I was sold for sure. The game is HARD when compared to quite a few modern games, and even the slightest mistake can cost you significantly. It requires careful planning thinking, and I LOVE it. I wish more games were like this. Sadly, the replay value isn't that great, and the multiplayer isn't really detailed or expanded, but I still think it's one of the better games out there. Battlefield: Bad Company 2 and Battlefield 3. Now, I've never been a huge PC gamer, so I didn't get into Battlefield 2, or previous titles, which I'm told are the best ones out there, but I did get Bad Company 2 on the Xbox. When I first heard the game on stereo, I was shocked. I've never been in a real war, but my god, if I had to guess what it sounds like, I'd bet my money on Bad Company 2. Not only that, the maps are HUGE, and fairly well detailed. It's a beautiful game all around. And then, Battlefield 3 came out. Never before had I been so excited about a military shooter. This game was simply amazing. It's easily my favorite current military shooter. Now, both games like a superb campaign, but those games aren't about the campaign, it's all about the multiplayer. Deus Ex: Human Revolutions. Long ago, there used to be a lesser known genre of games. These games were stealth games. Now days, it's pretty tough to find a good stealth game, or just a stealth game in general. There's a lot of games that try to be stealth games, but just fall short. I'm looking at you, Ghost Recon, Assassin's Creed, and current gen. Splinter Cell. Thankfully, some developers still find stealth to be a fun aspect of their game. DE:HR has a fairly good stealth system. It's challenging, especially on the hardest difficulty. But that's just one way to play. You don't have to sneak around. You can go in guns blazing, if you want. DE:HR is a game that fits almost all play styles, which is great. Not only that, it has a story that just makes you think your actions, and the actions of others. There's no clear right or wrong. A great game, but it does have a few flaws. The major one being the horrible boss fights. If only they were better made. Halo: 3, and Reach. The Halo series has become that series that you either love or hate. Overrated, and bashed, but still one of the better shooting games out there. While the community might not be the best, the games sure do make up for it. The campaigns are perfect for those guys who enjoy futuristic, sci-fi space operas and the likes. The multiplayer is simple, for the most part, not too rewarding, but fun, quick, and easy to pickup. Not only that, it requires you to know the location of certain weapons, which means players have to use more tactics when moving around the map. That, or camp all the heavy weapons and be a jerk. Either way, there's no denying that Halo has become a superb franchise for modern gamers.
