Any rumblings about a next gen TM for PS3? Also, would you rather it be a sequel to TM:B or a true sequel to TM2? As far as I am concerned 989 Studio's TM3 and 4 are non-cannon. They just don't exist. All that exists is TM1, 2, and Black. Oh, and Heads On.

I can't imagine all the stuff they could put in for the next-gen in terms of graphics, character weapons, stages, and a whole bunch of new stuff!:D

Yes, there is some evidence. David Jaffe hinted at a big secret hidden in Twisted Metal: Head-On: Extra Twisted Edition for the PS2...we'd all like to think he's referring to Twisted Metal for the PS3. Obviously, nothing is confirmed just yet, but the clamoring for another TM is definitely there.

Wait a second here, who actually owns the Twisted Metal name now? Is it Sony, or what? I'm just wondering because they haven't done too much with the license for a long time except that PS2 game I gotta pick up.

It's a Sony franchise that's why those 989 hacks were able to mess up the games as bad as they wanted to.

and since TM:B there's been two other TM games. Small Brawl came out on Ps1 shorty after Black and HEad On on the PSP. There was also TM:B online and the port with all those extra goodies of Head On for the PS2.

If that extra content that Fathoms was talking about is an announcement of a new TM game like I hope it is, I'll run out and buy a PS3 that weekend.
