The Phantom Pain is going to be incredible

why didn't anyone tell me that Ground Zeroes was incredible....the gameplay mechanics, the controls it is the best playing mgs by far...and TPP seems to be tenfold of what GZ is

this is truly Kojima's Magnum Opus of the MGS saga..

I haven't even play Ground Zero yet cause I didn't like Kojima witht that tech demo overprice BS but since Phantom Pain has a release date, I'll pick up Ground Zero late in August since it should be cheaper by then and I can get into the story before Phantom Pain is release.

it truly will be incredible.. a complete MGS playthrough this summer is on my agenda to prepare for MGSV

Just got it on pc and beside being not worth $60 at launch, it's a great teaser that really shows off the direction they want the game to go, and their ambitions for the games engine.

Could this be the best MGS in the series?

People said the same thing about MGS4. And as a massive MGS fan, who had gone through MGS2 and MGS3 probably 4 or 5 dozen times apiece, I am going to be very wary about the next one.

Will get it on PC. Hopefully writing will be better this time around. Other than that, it looks great.

Because I was seriously burned by MGS4. The deus ex machina ending nearly killed my interest in the entire franchise. And to be honest, I haven't played any of the games since playing MGS4. I'm not sure I could go back to them for several more years yet.

will the cross gen nature of the game limit gameplay...

i mean in terms of gameplay mechanics can a game like MGS V TPP being cross gen compete with a current gen only game lik arkham knight or uncharted 4 that is for the new consoles only

@foxhound_fox: @foxhound_fox: why do people get so butt hurt over a games ending? Its just a game, the number1 most important thing about a "game" is the gameply second to that is graphics if you get a great story with that its a added bonus, but a bad ending is no reason to boycott a great game or series. If you want a flawless story go read a book.

What do we do with games? We play them, gameplay no1 most important factor in a game, graphics is 2nd a games got to look half decent, and in 3rd place an amazing story that pleases everyone.

You had a tonne of fun playing through the game but you're gonna let a ending you didnt like ruin the whole game/series for you.
