The Evil Within

So I saw some videos and screenshots about this game and it looks decent. It kind of reminds me about Resident Evil 4. I'm not sure who Shinji Mikani is but he is being hailed as being one of the creators of Resident Evil and is part of the team who created this game. (Tango Gameworks) Publisher Bethesda.

I'm definitely waiting for a price drop and might rent it. What about you guys?

@Realmjumper: Looks like a legit survival horror game. I hate the Resident Evil franchise, but this looks interesting enough already.

One of my most anticipated games for the near future! It really does look like a return to survival horror.

Most likely a rent or bargain used purchase from me. Not really a genre I play much, but it looks interesting enough.

One I am keeping an eye on has potential to be decent.

I saw gameplay, you run out of ammo medkits stun you, enemies can get back up if you dont burn them you can set traps, it has horror and its 15 hours long.

If those things are true, day 1 for me, mixing re 4 with sillent hill. Hell yeah, if you care about the genre you must buy this, or the genre will die.

Now i dont know if the game will turn out crap, but if it does, then pay attention to the reviews, if they whine about bad controls and dated graphics, then they missing the point of survival horror games.

Game looks awesome to me but the season pass killed any hype I had for it. I'll pick it up down the road used for $20.

It looks ok, I'll certainly buy it. Survival horror games im also looking forward to are Asylum and Routine.

Then the game im most hyped about for now is Penumbra Necolouge. (although its actually only a Dark Descent Mod its been a long time in development and is just as complete as any other Penumbra game)
