So i transferred all my wii data to my wii u. when i put in super galaxy (into wii u) it plays my old file fine. So i went to start a new game and it played for about 5 mins and it gets stuck when bowser starts attacking it says disc cannot be read. I put it in my old wii and did a new game and it played right through that part just fine i tried it again on the wii u it gets stuck. so why can the wii play it but the wii u gets stuck and what can i do?

Try cleaning off the bottom of the disk. There may be a smudge that the laser on the Wii can still read through, but the laser on the Wii U cannot. I'm about 99% sure this problem is specific to your disc.

There is a possibility that there is a scratch on it
