This is something I would never expected.

Source.

This is third party and is not affiliated with Valve.

Wow... I am intrigued. Will it have the specs to play anything currently on Steam, I wonder... that might be a bit much to ask, perhaps.

It doesn't look particularly comfortable.

I find what they are claiming is impossible to believe. A quad-core CPU + everything else, capable of playing Steam games in your sweaty hands without overheating doesn't seem possible. At least, if it's going to be capable of playing the games that people would want it to.

The resolution of the screen may aid in the reduction of needed processing power.

The link leans here, so I think it's broken unless I'm missing something.

Steamboy is a famous anime. It'd be like calling your handheld "Dragonball Z"

Oh I see. I don't think it will be a problem because I believe the anime Steamboy IP name, doesn't extend out towards other mediums and products. A brand such as Coke Cola, is such a massive entity that they have enough money to hold the IP name across everything. So a random guy/gal, can't mass produce a game console called Coke Cola and sell it on the market because the Coke Company owns the name no matter how different the product is compare to what they produce. But it takes millions dollars to own the name across all boards because the money goes towards different first-world country governments, who crack down on stuff like this.

I doubt the Steamboy anime creators will go after the portable Steam platform because they aren't fighting over the same market and it isn't called Steamboy just to false advertise people on how the anime is related to this machine.

It's unlikely the Steamboy copyright holders would even care. More than a legal thing, it would be a marketing misstep to name a device after something that already exists, and I might add on a side note: naming a high-tech device after a steampunk anime is too funny ;)
