No. The Arma II mod is better, you're better off with that. Though if you're interested in another Alpha game, grab 7 Days 2 Die. It's on sale and a lot cheaper than DayZ. I'm currently addicted to it at the moment and enjoy it more over DayZ. I'm hoping by next year DayZ will be better off, I stopped playing only a few days in.
