With the success of Sonic and Sega All Star Racing and the upcoming release of the sequel how would you fighting game fans feel about a Sega All Star Fighting game? I had an idea for a 2D style fighting game similar to Street Fighter X Tekken and maybe with these characters.

Sonic

Tails

Knuckles

Shadow

Ristar

Joe Musashi

Death Adder

Adam Hunter

Axel Stone

Blaze Fielding

Shiva

Akira Yuki

Jacky Bryant

Alex Kidd

There's also possible characters from games such as Virtua On, Bayonetta, Phantasy Star, Hell Yeah etc

What do you guys think?

Not too familiar with Sega's characters other than the Sonic series and the Streets of Rage series.

But I would love to see some representation from SoR and Shining Force!

You mean like Fighters Megamix?

And if anything, they need to revive Eternal Champions franchise like they were going to do but opted for Virtua Fighter instead.

Ah yes Eternal Champions very underrated I think, any Sega cross over title has to have a few characters from it at least

I wouldn't expect it to sell better than Brawl or PSAS:BR, but it would be a decent game. If they did do that, I wouldn't be surprised if Microsoft made their own crossover fighting game :P

Didn't you hear? MS was going to make a crossover fighter that included T.J Combo Fulgore and Sabrewolf from KI, plus Marcus Fenix Master Chief and a few other exclusives characters. MS canned it after seeing concept art/renders

Yeah, I've wanted to see a Sega All-Stars fighting game for sometime. It could be good for Sega's answer to Super Smash Bros. series too.
