What is your favourite rhythm game or series?
I love the Hatsune Miku games and Taiko no Tatsujin.

Let's see, I have my top 5 Rhythm games that I enjoy in the past and kinda still play them when giving the chance and they are:
Those were the only Rhythm games I really played, just those 5 games.
Hatsune MIku Project Diva f/f2nd are some of my favorite games ever made, and really the only rhythm games I bother to play. May add Persona Dancing All Night to the list of ones I play though, not decided on it yet
In the arcades,I favor Dance Dance Revolution,as for consoles(I don't have these yet,but I gotta admit its captivating charm)
Hatsune Miku Project Diva F 2nd..highly recommended for PS3 in terms of rhythmic games..a complete pv video of it is available,but I ain't showin' it.handhelds...not so much,but I do know of Rhythm Heaven for the DS after Elite Beat Agents.
I love Rhythm games, so there's quite a few. Some are a weird hybrid with other mechanics to them.
Gitaroo Man
Patapon
Loco Roco
Child of Eden
Dance Dance Revolution
Crypt of the Necrodancer
Rock Band 3
Guitar Hero 3
Bust-A-Goove
Rez -
Frequency
Amplitude
Dance Central 3
PaRappa The Rapper
If the Elite Beat Agents games count, then those ones...
Most certainly, and that's at the top of my list.
@davillain-:
Have you considered playing the rest of the Hatsune Miku games? I think there are five already and a new one is coming to the west on 3DS.
@Smashbrossive50:
I forgot about the Rhythm Tengoku/Heaven/Paradise games, they're pretty fun but I'm awful at them.

whelp..can't argue with this if you were able to see it for an upcoming WiiU or NX release..that video is the answer of what happens if Hatsune Miku joins up the Rhythm Heaven series for the time being.
@megane: have you seen it already? The video I provided is that solution...can't argue way too deep about it though.
@megane: fans made them so it could improve each other's personal interest,but the chances companies make a crossover such as fan demand is very thin,like it's 00000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000.1% chance the company will do it,if only you'd worked for them,but another downside is that different franchises from different companies requires a high amount of trust and investment,no investment or trust,no one of these babies will be yours. Fans get them because they're inspired from their favorites, in that case...the queen of rhythm games is always Hatsune Miku,her popularity along with the other Vocaloids is quite astounding that she's nearly everywhere when it comes to J music culture.
Not to say much,but the fun fact is that Sega had Miku's license and Rhythm Heaven is from Nintendo,surely I know fans who knew of the bitter fight between the two companies in the 90s to mid 2000s wanted to unite it through that video I sent you.
@megane: I prefer Rhythm Tengoku and will go to my 3DS XL when it's released,kinda curious what does the game has to offer this time,unlike Miku,I don't want to play the game,rather,I'd watch a complete set of PVs. considering that the game has the same ol' epidermis,and a fresh song in the back,I always love the PV more than the game's recycling gameplay experience

Oh yes, I meant to reply to this lol. Unfortunately I honestly don't play that many rhythm games as of lately but I can tell you that I did enjoy Hatsune Miku games but just couldn't keep up with the series due to other stuff and playing other games but I didn't know there's a 3DS version on the way. Thanks for the info, I'll be keeping an eye on it.
@Smashbrossive50:
I like both series equally, the unique gameplay od Rhythm Tengoku is more fun, but I love Vocaloid music and it's stuff I sometimes listen to anyway.
@davillain-:
The 3DS Miku game isn't as hard as the Playstation games, but it's still a lot of fun and has some nice tracks. It's worth a look at least.
