In short. I have crappy internet so can't play online but a few of us in close proximity would like to play COD4 Ghosts over LAN USING OUR LOCAL NETWORK. When I enter LAN on COD 4 Ghosts I try to invite my friend but there is a lock symbol beside his name. What are we doing wrong???
Does LAN only work via hardwiring machines together or can we use our local wifi to create a LAN and play each other. FYI I can invite him into an online private match but as it is over the internet the lag makes playing useless.
