old star wars games are still canon or non-canon ?

The upcoming Star Wars film/s will not be recognizing the Expanded Universe, which includes a plethora of comics, novels and videogames based on the original trilogy, as canon, Lucasfilm has announced.

So it would seem they are no longer canon but they are still fantastic games.

I think all of the EU is about to be non-canon, from books to games. It sucks, but what can you do?

so this is what the article on the front page was getting at eh? this is actually not terrible, there were many things that could stand to be excised from the EU. on a related note, one of the many reasons i loved the KOTOR's was that they were not boxed in by the movies, so perhaps this could free star wars up to do something fresh. such as not not pandering to the kiddies lol

Yeah, I think all those are still considered canon.

I'm pretty sure the only part of the Expanded Universe that is actually officially canon is the Clone Wars series and the Force Unleashed. Outside that, none of it is considered canon by Lucas.
