Do you think any chance in the future.....only way they will get my money.
@bassclef65: They don't need your money.
They should, because then they could make even more money. Why say no to more money? If Destiny had off-line single player, they could have my money, too.
I doubt it. Its an mmo open and shut case. Wanting destiny to be single player is like saying world of warcraft should have a single player campagin

I wonder how you would feel about someone not giving a company money because they made a Single Player game and the person loves multiplayer games.
I would imagine you would be just fine with that.
@bassclef65: I played the whole story mode without a PSN membership, and no one help me at all, so basically I played online solo, like offline, but I had to have internet to play. The story was so bad I am interested in seeing what the expansion has, but I am not the gullible, and I have plenty of other games to catch up on. Just started Dragon dogma for the first time, and slowly liking it more, and more, goodbye destiny.......
@bluesunmerc: I agree that we will most likely not see offline multiplayer. However, I have a hard time classifying this game as an MMO. It lacks many MMO features that we're used to seeing these days. Among these are: trading, social features (chat), high player density in social and combat (the most I ever see is two or three others in combat areas). It just falls short in the "massively" category. I think they wanted to give off the sense that it was an MMO considering they added emotes and a "social" lobby, but they really fell short on content and execution.
They want you to buy Destiny 2, so: no, it won't happen.
Hey mate are you looking forward to FC4?
Since it's more of the same I won't get it on release, definitely further down the line though.

Right now only the Game of Thrones Telltale game. The Witcher 3 further down the line.

It sure does.
While I'm not in favor of it online only games are going to become a lot more prevalent. It gives the publisher/developer total control and it reduces the amount of piracy. It also opens the door for extra profit (money grubbing) via micro transactions, which I think is a really slippery slope. I'm not a fan of these types of games. I find online play more annoying than entertaining. My real social life is fine and dandy. I don't feel the need to make video games a social experience. Plus last year I moved to a town of about 1000 people that has broadband internet but charges outrageous prices. $90 for 3Mb (yes megaBITS, not bytes of bandwidth) which is also unreliable AND being shared by three people. A lot of times it's a hassle just to stream netflix. Even if I wanted to play Destiny 2 or any other online only game I couldn't. First the lag is terrible and second any updates required take days to download. Can't play online games without being up to date right? So yeah, basically gaming is slowly shifting to an online model and I'm not at all pleased with it.
Thank Blizzard for making always online a requirement even for a single player game. They were really hypocritical about it too saying that the game intended to be social and that offline play would ruin the game, yet the console versions were all playable offline. I liked D3 but hated the online experience and wound up buying a ps4 version so I could just sit down and play without the online hassle.
