Hey guys! I am just starting Oblivion and I decided to be a wood elf and I'm not sure what birth sign I should have. I don't want to be an archer. I know that much. Any suggestions?
I believe two of the most popular choices include The Warrior and The Lady, as the stat boosts can benefit just about any character type. If you're planning on the mage path, then The Mage isn't a terrible choice either, giving you a 50 point magic boost without any nasty side effects.
Read and be rid of thy ignorance and have a bountiful quest.
Unless you are playing on PC with mods, there are no birthsigns other than The Warrior and the Thief that give any significant benefits to choosing. The Thief is by far the best you can pick for any class, due to the 10-point boost to Luck.
