i thought to share this, i thought it's hilarious for them to link Rayman Legends and Bayonetta as Nintendo games. They also include 3DS games aswell. I don't even...

But Nintendo is just doing a PR stunt like Microsoft who claims their phone´s AI is better than another phones AI. But this is clearly not the case, not to mention that many of the games are the same on both platforms and sequel nr. loads and loads.

I would agree. The PS4 and Xbox One libraries are pretty pathetic.

All consoles game libraries are pretty weak if you look at the exclusives alone. But with that said i think its pretty clear from sales that Nintendo doesnt sell WiiU´s because they have a few more exclusives.

Nintendo published Bayonetta 2, so they can "link it" all they want. I will grant you that Rayman Legends is misleading.

Also, why in the world can't they include 3DS games.

I really don't think they can objectively call themselves better than any other companies, especially since their games and consoles are often very different from other games and systems, making it harder to compare. I will say that Nintendo makes great games and that they also make good consoles, and have probably blended those two strengths better than other companies, but i don't think that you can simply call them entirely better because they are stronger, in some areas, than other consoles and companies

I believe Rayman Legends has exclusive content. I know it's a stretch... but eh.

I don't think it's crazy to call them better than the other two companies...but it's a bit sad to see them stoop to Sony and Microsoft's level of PR drudgery.

What do you base that on? Nintendo is better at what? holding their ip´s locked down and limiting their talents to a small niche market.

Also the time of exclusivity is over, most 3rd party developers can´t just relay on a single platform anymore so compare the game list on Sony and Microsoft to Nintendo´s and see if they are still "better".

Nintendo makes better games than Sony and Microsoft. The only thing that makes those systems worth owning are third party multies that are better on PC anyways.

It's all just preference anyway.

3DS is hands-down the best handheld game out there for price, variety of games, and fun. I think that PS4 and Xbox One is better console though. I think that's the general opinion too. PS4 and Xbox One are for hardcore gamers (which would be most competetive and most gamers) and has alot of diff games from platformers to FPS. Nintendo caters to a niche audience. PS4 and Xbox One also caters to adults who have spending money where Nintendo caters to kids who's income is limited bc it's from their parents. Except for Nintendo does cater to the niche of adult gamers like myself.

Anyways, Nintendo really shouldn't make that statement since their console isn't outperforming Xbox One or PS4 in sales.

Again, for the current generation, Bayonetta 1 is only available for the Wii U. I have it myself on the 360, but for the CURRENT generation, it is only available on the Wii U, so no, they are not lying.

From my standpoint, I have a gaming PC and therefore Nintendo has the best home console. There's not even a close competitor. The hand-held market doesn't even need to be discussed as Nintendo owns that whole market pretty much.

Even without a PC, the 3rd party console games these days are pretty much the same thing year after year. I've been gaming since the early '80s on Atari and I've never been interested in playing the same thing over and over with slightly better graphics each time.

Nintendo just does it better than these other game companies. There's no surprise they won developer of the year.

Bayonetta 2 is a Wii U exclusive.(So is Bayo 1 to be serious) Rayman Legends was exclusive to Wii U, until Ubi pulled their asshole moves.

You know we're dealing with PR also...lol They get paid to sell whatever product they get paid from.

It's a multiplat game... If they are going that route, Sony and MS can use all the games exclusive to them and the remastered games. Then they blow Nintendo out of the water...

It doesn't matter. Their poll is for current gen systems. The fact that Bayonetta is available on PS3 and 360 is irrelevant. If someone is looking for a current gen system, either an Xbox 1, PS4 or Wii U, Bayonetta is ONLY available on Nintendo. This is all that needs to be said. You said they're lying, but according to their wording of the poll, they aren't.

Not according to Nintendo's criteria. Based on a Metacritic and user score of 8.5, Nintendo wins out pure and simple. Sure, Sony and MS can do their own polls, but unless that criteria is lower than 8.5 for both Metacritc and user scores, they will lose. All they'll be able to show is they have more great games on average. In terms of highest quality games by both Metacritc reviewers alike, Nintendo wins hands down.

Well, it´s always easy to imagine things like Nintendo does and fit their reality down on paper, when its not really that way.

Because if we look abit at metacritic, we quickly see that Ps4 and Xbox one beats the Nintendo hands down with a avg. critic score of 72 and 72.4 against 66.8 and 67,3 . If we look at bit at the games, Nintendo has had 3(4 if you count 3DS) that scored higher than 90, Sony has 5 (6 with Vita) and Xbox one just 1.

Yes, and those two PS4 games are probably the only two according to Nintendo's criteria, and Titanfall didn't make the cut because its user score average is 6.2. I'm at work, so I can't do the research, but if you would like to find any other Xbox One and PS4 titles that fits Nintendo's criteria, please do.

I'm not disputing the average. I'm just saying that numerically, according to Nintendo's criteria, they win. If you want to change the criteria, though, so that Sony and MS's numbers are better, you're in effect just changing the reality to make the other corporations look better. Honestly, I agree that the total average is what's more important. It's like, what would you be more proud of? A report card with a few As and the rest Ds and Fs, or a report card with nothing but Bs and Cs.

Seems you're still having trouble grasping Nintendo's criteria. The games I struck out have user scores that do not meet 8.5, and Journey has not been released on PS4 yet, which leaves the exact games Nintendo included in their poll.
