MK1 or MK2?

I'm trying to decide my new favorite game of all time. Which should it be, Mortal Kombat 1 or MK2?

I do like MK2, but the only thing that's keeping it from being my absolute favorite is its unforgiving difficulty. And MK1 looks and plays a bit too bland.

So what do you think it should be?

They're both broken pieces of crap.

UMK3 is the only respectable game in the series. The rest crumble under any measure of serious play.

By the way, Dark is correct. UMK3 was the only respectable MK game. But I must admit, MK2 was fun though.

They should of killed the series after that.

Absolutely not. MKT did a lot for balancing existing characters, I will admit, but none of it mattered because everything/everyone else Midway added was a giant exercise in BS.

Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 is the lone solid MK.

Fine. I'll just stick with Super Mario World being my favorite game of all time. I don't want to say that my favorite game is s***.

My favourite was MKT, however, I never did play UMK3.
