Just me or is something off with Battlefront's graphics?

Dice claims that the trailers for Battlefront were made entirely in-engine. There is no way that is possible. No game has that good graphics or animations. Not even Crysis 3 (which is still the king of graphics after 2 years.) But no game can have this good graphics or animations in this generation. It looks like something only the highest quality GT or Radion cards could even run.

To me, this looks like a bigger scam than Watch Dog's downgraded graphics. I think it will just be slightly improved from BF4's graphics. Not saying anything against the game, because after all, graphics aren't nearly as important as gameplay, but it is still a shame when a marketing team lies to get more preorders.

Its just a reskinned BF4 so not sure what you mean there is something wrong with the graphics.

@Jacanuk: Yeah pretty much. Same engine. Same animations. The only things changed are character models. If BF4 actually had mods, this totally would have been made by now. By modders. And probably better too.

Ya it's basically a Battlefield 4 mod. That's the problem in a nutshell. It's not Battlefront at all.

didn't digital foundry do an analysis of the E3 PS4 SW BF footage to say it was 900p? Sounds like real PS4 footage to me (I say this not to be snarky about PS4 - I just mean if it was running on two Titan X's it would have been 1080p at least)

Here's the link:

Perhaps you are thinking of the initial reveal footage which DF notes is likely unrealistic in this article?

In other words, what you saw at E3 this year is real

@xantufrog: Most likely, but there's a good chance it was shot on a PC with a Titan. Most likely not a PC. Looks like a fun game but not a must have. I will probably buy a year or two later on sale and after the bugs are all ironed out.
