Is this the Super NES Mortal Kombat or the Genesis one?

In this video, the guy's playing Mortal Kombat. Looks like an excellent port. Is it the Super NES version he's playing, or is it the Genesis one? To me, it looks like the Super NES one. Or am I wrong?

I missed that, my bad. Now i'm confused, lol. It just looked like the SNES version because the character names were under the health bars. But I think in the Genesis versions, the character names were in the health bars, if memory serves me right.

@Helghast_Merc: You are correct about the names, the version in the video is SNES judging by that.

It doesn't matter which controller he's holding, since this is a TV commercial and the kid is not really playing the game on the screen.

That's the SNES version of MK2, you can tell by the life bar, which on the SNES does not have the gradient effect in the red part, which the Genesis version does have.

How do you even remember shit like that? Only thing I can remember between the two was Abacab and grey blood on the SNES version....maybe a few fatalities were changed.
