unfortunately not. it's not a game to explore or tell a story. just to a game to shoot things in

Nope. Expect shooting things.... waiting...shooting more things. Waiting and then shooting more. Oh wait a boss! Shoot it 1000 times more then those other things! That's destiny.

To be fair almost every fps exhibits repetition. COD manages to get great reviews while ultimately boiling down to everyone playing multiplayer on the same maps with the same weapons.

Edit: They are zones with limited exploration.

If by open world you mean a bit more freedom then a corridor shooter like Uncharted, then yes :P

If you mean something like Crysis or Far Cry then no, far away from it.

It's more like a battlefield 4 map
