I am currently writing a research paper on the effects of in-game advertising on gamers. I'm having trouble remembering some games that have advertising in it. It would be helpful if someone could point out to me some games that have in-game advertising.

Thanks a bunch (You're saving my grade)!

Pretty much any sports related EA game made in the past few years. Even in some of their non-sports games too like Battlefield 2142 (which went so far as to plant psuedo-spyware on your PC in order to better target ads to you). Really though any sports game is going to be filled with advertising (which includes everything from baseball games to skateboard games to racing games).

Enemy Territory: Quake Wars

I can't think of any other games that have in-game advertising other than the ones listed so far, but I'm sure there's plenty more of them.

The first in-game advertizing I can remember was a giant Sprint ad plastered all over Space Quest 5.

Ingame advertising is disgusting.. sure i dont mind seeing a coke can in a game on a desk in an office or a billboard in a city full of lights making it look realistic.. but in BF2142 having a billboard in the middle of nowhere.. bah. Its not necessary. Yeah it makes the game company a LOT more money, but it can be very annoying for its paying customers.

A couple burnout games, Matrix Online. That's all that I can think of. Personally, I don't mind it because for online games I know that it helps keep the cost down but also the fact that it's a little more realistic.
