I miss hat do you miss?

Getting annoyed with having no instruction manual while you play these days. Just got the sims 4 and the lessons on there you got to read it and go back wards and forwards to the game or write them down your self. Back in the old days you could read the instruction while you played which made it a lot easier. I no you could down load them and print it off but then that's more money spent on the game with the ink etc. It not just this game its every game and simulation games need more instruction in front of you at the time your playing the game then having to go back and forwards. Any one else miss manuals to games?.

I must admit I don't play too many sims. I do play strategy games, but so far they've had decent tutorials or the game is designed in a way so that you'll gradually learn it yourself. And well, if I don't get something it's easy to just alt+tab and look it up. I don't really mind doing that.

Yeah, I miss them as well. Although, most games do a good job of explaining the game while playing it, but I did like going through manuals just for the sake of artwork.

I don't mind there not being one, I just don't like when the game is like "You can download a digital manual online".

I liked the manuals. Such a disposable world now.

I miss them too. Both for the information they contain and the nostalgia for the good ol' days. I recently bought a physical copy of Inquisition and excited, opened the case to find no manual. with a "online manual available at.." message. Bummer.
