I thnk Half-life is the winner. It has a way better aotry than Halo, More realism, and better graphics(well facial graphics at least). I just got hooked to Half life more than Halo. It came out about 3 years before. I never like the halo story always felt predictible, and the gameplay felt like any other shooter. Well that's my opinion what about yours?
Half Life focuses more on the single-player experience, whereas with Halo it's the multiplayer that sells it. So it depends which of those two you prefer as to which game you prefer. I think that both have brilliant gameplay, and I think that's the most important factor.
