Good FPS/TPS linear non-open world PC games?

I don't like open-world games. I really enjoy playing single-player on games like

-bioshock series

-Call of duty, battlefield series

-Max payne 3 (a bit repetitive, but not bad)

-Dead space 1 (working through dead space 2, and eventually will try 3)

-Metro series

-Singularity (it's not bad, a bit underrated imo)

-Tomb Raider 2013

I've been told the latest Call of Jurez is good, so I'll probably check it out too...

I don't really like games where you have tons of dialogues to go through (ex. mass effect, sorry too much talking for my taste)

Any other recommendations for PC? Oh, and try to keep it to games like at least 2008 or newer...sorry but my computer can't really run the old games anymore, and I don't really incline to downgrade my software/hardware just to run the oldies.

Call of Juarez is fun, but short (like 5h). It has a very addictive Arcade mode. Have you played Alan Wake? It's a great linear TPS and a tribute to Stephen King. I've also heard Binary Domain is a lot of fun, but haven't tried it myself. Bulletstorm may be worth checking out if you want lots of action :).

Yeah that's the one . Spec Ops : The Line , that was pretty awesome game and wish there is STALKER 2 in the future . Hard Reset is brilliant old school shooter for modern audience , just like Shadow Warrior , very underrated games .

Mass Effect: Atleast they Actually talk with their voices.

Most games make you read that sh!t. So not cool.

God forbid you be required to read.

@ Doom_HellKnight

LOL. I prefer to listen when conversing with someone. I'm sure you do too. LA Noire is great example of knowing when to read and when to listen.

Its just odd when when theres a character on screen who clearly has a mouth but their dialog is written, not spoken.

You agree right ?

Max Payne 1 & 2 - so much better then number 3

Dues Ex: Human Revolution - Its sudo-open world but I recommend giving it a go

FEAR series - Number One is the best in the series

Half-Life series - Some of the best games ever

Crysis series - 2 and 3 are linear, number 1 has open world segments
