Games vs real life?

I think games are better than real life - almost super human endurance and you can just continue if you die. You also never age... Its perfect.

Don't measure or compare real life to a game. They are far to different that it does not matter. Only a fool would try to mix the two for some reason.

I'm not sure I understand. These two realms remain separated, I suppose? In that case, I would totally choose real life. Videogames are very limited in what you are allowed to do and where you are allowed to go. You'd be stuck in infinite loops. Even if you would apply some videogame aspects, like not aging and not dying, to real life, it still wouldn't work out. I don't think humans would be able to deal with eternal life and it would also destroy the earth rather quickly.

@loafofgame: Who cares about earth? We wil lfind other planets to mine. And you are very wrong tha tvideo games are limiting because you could theoreticaly jump bewtween games if you connect all games into one world.

Just like in Anime, Anime is soooo much better then real life and so much shit you can get away in Anime.

@hyksiu: Alright, so the two realms aren't separated. I'd say this is not real life versus videogames, then. You're listing aspects of videogames you would like to experience in a real life context. You seem to want some kind of virtual reality. Even all videogames combined would still provide a horribly limited world, especially when it comes to human interactions or even simple non-challenge based activities. Unless all of the pleasures and intricacies of real life are all of the sudden magically included.

games remind me of edge of tomorrow. You die, and you just respawn and try again. Too bad real life isnt that way. You get pwned once and its game over

It's much better not to think of it as "versus", or you will run into trouble soon.

Do you prefer sex or a head shot? Sex is only good in real life, while head shots are most welcome in games, and not the other way around.

If you asked me this question years ago I would have said games. Then I grew up and realized life is vastly superior... because it's real. Life is what you make it. I decided to make mine more interesting, since I used to erroneously believe it was boring, and thus escape into games. Still love games though.
