Games/Series Specifically For Older Gamers

What are some games and/or series out there that seem/are specifically designed for people like 25-40?

For games with highly mature themes, I'd recommend BioShock (deconstructing utopia and human condition) and/or BioShock Infinite (sci-fi physics of the highest order), Mass Effect (xenophobia, hope and triumph), Deus Ex (transhumanism), L.A. Noire (portrait of 1940s America), Spec Ops: The Line (post-traumatic stress disorder), and many more that I can't think of on the top of my head.

The Last of Us

The Cat Lady, very dark and mature story line. (its the 3rd time ive recommended this game today lol)

I would also recommend Gone Home, but I know I'll get yelled at for considering it a game at all. Opinions: fair until it's not you're own XD
