what are some games that are like Crash Bandicoot 1-3? basically what im looking for: pure platforming adventure, gather the crystals, secret gems, collect peaches for 1up, jump on penguin's head to kill penguin, etc etc.......just like mario but 3D world. im looking for the levels to be just one narrow road. not one where you can explore.
it can be 2D or behind the character view. PS1 or PS2 please

as others have mentioned, spyro the dragon and klonoa both sound pretty ideal as to what your looking for, also try rayman, croc or ape escape, there all great adventure games. i'm currently looking for similar games myself, only for playstation 3. i'm playing little big planet 2 and ratchet and clank currently, but i've almost finished both games and looking for something similar again, although i only want ps3 games.

I got one called Ms. Pac-Man Maze Madness for the PS1 years ago, i've played trough it and its simple but very addicting, the levels are diverse & controls are solid. Would be cool to add a few more quality games, i don't got that big of a game base for the PS1.

It's actually called "Pac-Man World". That's the name of the game.
I came in this thread to mention Croc, and soo many of you already have lol :P. But yeah, it is a cool game! Also I believe there are some Looney Tunes games that are similar? look those up :).
