I really wish they'd have been able to finish Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance. There was a small but interesting narrative arc running through those games that never got any payoff. I'd love to see someone take that franchise and finish it. Not that the story was some great piece of fantasy fiction or anything, but those games were fantastic and I'd just love any reason for them to make another one.
I'd also really dig a third game in the Champions of Norrath series. The first two on the PS2 were fantastic.
And as long as we're talking about Snowblind engine hack-n-slash dungeon crawlers; I know the team went on to make Marvel Ultimate Alliance during the 7th gen, but I would really like a new X-Men Legends game. MUA was great too though, so if they followed up there I'd happily take that instead.
lol, I've got the first dark alliance for my gamecube and would love to see another. bought and played d&d:heroes, as well, and, thought it was a good game. me and the family still play it every once in awhile. I also agree with you on xmen/u.a., as well.
i'd really like to see a second gladius. and, more turn-based rts games, in general.
With the fighting game revival that kicked off a few years back, I'm a little shocked that SEGA hasn't tried to revive Eternal Champions. They even made a sequel for the SEGA CD called Eternal Champions: Challenge from the Dark Side. They were largely the same game, with a few bits of FMV and CGI mixed into the already decent gameplay. It was no Street Fighter, but it was far from the worst fighter that came out during that time. With the right team, I'd consider picking up a copy of a revival to that franchise.
It had a silly but serviceable "Characters throughout time" kind of story arc. Different warriors pulled from time to battle for the main baddies amusement. Kind of like Calypso from Twisted Metal or INFERNO from the original Soul Calibur.
The SEGA CD version had some interesting stage fatalities to find as well. Not a bad series in it's day. And if Killer Instinct can make a return, Eternal Champions could as well. :)
I still kind of want another actual True Crime game. Sleeping Dogs was great, better than the True Crime games even, but I wanted the free roam cop gameplay of the True Crime games. Sleeping Dogs probably turned out better because it wasn't a True Crime game, so this probably won't happen...

Heck that's only one of the things they could bring back. I'd like them to make an alternate F.E.A.R. and tackle Day One's shortcomings in F.E.A.R 3. The combat had a little bit of twitch, the MP modes were different, but...sigh.

But i would like to see another The movies , in general i would love to see more tycoon games like that , there are so many great games Theme Hospital, RailRoad Tycoon etc. that deserve a reboot.
Stop all this FPS shit and start to consider why a game like minecraft sold close to 40mill copies on all platforms.

Shenmue 3, Theme Hospital 2, and Alan Wake 2 are games that spring to my mind as titles I want but are unlikely to happen. Alan Wake 2 perhaps has the best chance as Remedy want to do it but need the cash to make it happen (as is my understanding from their recent Humble Bundle for Alan Wake where they discussed Quantum Break etc).
A REAL Paper Mario sequel... Super Paper Mario was tolerable, but Sticker Star was complete crap. There was very little wrong with the formula of the first two, and there was quite a bit of untapped potential. Why, Nintendo... Why?!
While I'm dreaming, a narrative-driven Dune game made by Naughty Dog that would be just like TLoU. It'd follow Paul Atreides from him being prince to the messiah. The clash of the houses, Mentats, worm riding, the Fremen, knife fighting, spice. This is my dream game. I can't believe a decent RPG hasn't yet been made out of the Dune universe. It needs to happen, and I'd like none other than it to get the TOoU treatment.
lol, a lot of us way back when thought a dune game inevitable. however, as a guy who finds tlou s' gameplay to be highly mediocre I would say no to naughty dogs doing that part of it.
personally, i'd take obsidian, since, gameplay and innovation is what they are great at.
I just need another ES or Fallout game on next-gen. Had to sell last system and I'm stuck with a bunk comp so I'm forced to run mud bricks. This would make my next-gen purchased justifiable, because as of now it isn't. Watch Dogs looking like duke just makes it all the worse.
Theres a game I have spotted called: Raindrop, a horror(?) survival game, it looks really nice, cars, customization, not going to get into it, they had a kickstarted, but it failed, but apparently they're still developing it, I really hope so, looked like a great game, sort of like State of Decay which is a game I really liked :P
I want Valkyria Chronicles 3 to come to the States. I don't care if it's an old game. I want it. Now.
There is a fan translation patch for it now. It's not perfect and certainly not ideal but I've put around 60 hours into it in the last month or so and it plays great. An official release would be better though.

@yokofox33: Well if you don't want to mod your own PSP the PPSSPP emulator runs it perfectly. And you can even do all the fancy things like crank the resolution and AA to make it look even better.
