Game DVR: Share your best clips!

With the PS4 and the Xbox One both making use of various DVR and sharing tools, it's never been easier to make and share gameplay clips from your games. I've made a couple so far and I know @Randolph made at least one.

I got to thinking it might be neat to share our clips within the community. So a thread asking for them might take off. Or it might die in a fiery crash to the bottom of the page and obscurity, but you never know if you don't try right?

So please, use this thread to share your best (or worst, whatever) gaming clips, stream captures, whatever.

Here's the first Dead Rising clip I made with some auto-captured clips from the Survival Training challenges spread throughout Los Perdidos. :)

Nick was feeling saucy. So he put on a evening gown, tactical SWAT boots, a police officer's cap, and if I'm not mistaken, a Fireman's mustache. :)

ya, i added other video. both was on skydrive and i uploaded to youtube since GS don't like skydrive player.

i was very pleased with this nfs as i played it way more then dr3 and buggy ass bf4 first.

Here is me playing Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition ranked matches yesterday as Vega. I can be not nice as Vega. Before a couple weeks ago, I did not have this game for about three months.

Vega was a favorite of mine back in the SF2 arcade days. Always enjoyed the speedier characters. Plus the Claw. Love the claw!

That reminds me of a Halo moment I forgot to capture a while back. When I figured out the timing on the Sword parry. I ended up getting three quick deflections in one match. Me and this guy kept trying to Energy Sword one another and kept deflecting one another's strikes. Then someone came along and shoved a rocket up my Visor.

Still, great video. I enjoyed it. :)

I watched the second video I posted in this thread again to be sure it is working properly and I noticed for the first time that it stutters badly for the first ten to fifteen seconds. Sorry about that everybody. I told Elgato technical support about it (the same company that make Elgato Game Capture HD) and a technician replied that I need a better computer processor or else that will continue occurring. I intend to buy a better computer or build one again, so that should not be an inhibiting issue for long.

@Randolph: That stinks buddy. Sorry you've been running into big cry babies who can't take their loss with a bit of dignity. Shame on them.

EDIT: Looks like it isn't working right now. Says it should be working properly ASAP on the help page, but who knows. Sorry if you tried it and it won't play. That'd be a drag. I'll edit it back in if it starts working. Sorry for the mix up.

EDIT Again: Swapped out the music and now it works fine. Sad really. It was much better with Motley Crue in it, but whatever.

@Randolph: That is impressive. :)

It's weird that you talk about shaky hands. I've had to deal with that same thing almost every time I play a First Person Shooter online. My adrenaline gets pumping and my hand gets shaky. It's a weird combination of frightening and wonderful. But I can rarely play more than about 4 or 5 matches at once before I need a break. Can't recall it happening on a fighter, but it may have back in the arcade days and I could have thought I had eaten a bad slice of pizza or something. Anyway, thought I'd share that.

@ZZoMBiE13: It's always happened to me online, I just get nervous and shaky when competing. Makes playing competitively online that much more of a pain. I lose plenty of matches online, I just happen tp only record the awesome wins and rage quitters. (which is, in its own way, also an awesome win)

Geez Randolph for someone who was going to uninstall and give up on KI you sure don't seem to be doing that bad afterall. Awesome clip.

Peggle 2 should have it's Auto-Record privileges revoked. They start after you fire the shot, and often cut off before the ball has finished bouncing. What the hell man??!!??

@GodModeEnabled: I lose plenty, though, believe it. I made that declaration the day or so before Thanksgiving, which for me in my line of work, is just hilariously awful. I got over it. The buyer for my fight stick back out too, so I still have that as well, though I haven't been using it lately.

Randoph would not be Randolph if he posted anything outside of Killer Instinct. :) Its also interesting to see the person behind the name.

And apparently you can't use Game DVR to capture cutscenes in Dead Rising? I was a bit surprised by that one. There's always the chance that I didn't do something properly. But man I hope that is a "feature" that gets patched out. Showing off your silly customizations in the cutscenes is half the fun. :(

Ryse clips

Used the editing tools that came with the X1. Would have loved more editing options, but oh well. Would embed, but GS doesn't seem to like skydrive.

HIghlights include a sautéed barbarian at 0:20 and "This.Is.Sparta!" at 1:12.

And this DVR need to be smarter. Cut out in the middle of my 90+ hit combo :(

What happens when you try to record the cutscenes, it just block them or something?

I was trying to capture a cutscene that really showed off Nick's silly hat. When I clicked "END CLIP" is just said it couldn't. It didn't really give me any specifics other than that.

Yeah, someone had a vid with those where they snuck up on a guy and whipped those out and did that little build up giggle Peter did in that episode of Family Guy when he had the giant pajamas that could get a lot of static and was shocking everyone.

From :08 to :11 was one of those times I'm glad an enemy wasn't in front of me, because I sure wasn't paying attention to where I was going.

On a side note I do hope Sony has something in the works so you can broadcast these clips in places other than facebook, and I hope they improve the video quality a little. While everything looks fine when I play and even preview the clip, the brightness in particular is horrible.

5 minute clip of me having a fairly decent run in BF4. Highlights include an unnecessary but fun c4 kill at the start, a blind grenade toss that ends up successful, a little knifing spree, and a player trying to knife me back resulting in failure.

@Randolph: You are some kind of magnet for Rage Quits man. :)

"Fairly decent"? Seriously? I have never made a run that good in any game. If I can keep my kill to death ratio at 1:1 I feel like John Rambo for corn's sake.
