For me, it was this captain I casually stealth killed in a stronghold. No big deal. But then later, I'm doing this side mission where I'm defending this bridge in a middle of a big storm, and I'm just barely managing to keep them back. And then, from behind, he appears, with half of his face destroyed and replaced with a metal mask. The orc I thought I killed then instantly crushed me, taunting me as I did so. Ready for revenge, I interrogated a captain and learned that he was basically unkillable in a straightforward fight, but would die instantly to a stealth attack. So I carefully planned a stealth attack, sneaked up, and plunged my dagger into his skull. AND IT WAS GLORIOUS, getting revenge on the orc who ruined this tedious side quest.
