There are several religions in the Elder Scrolls series. Which one do you consider yourself to be a part of? I consider myself to be a Worshiper of The Nine Divines.

The Nine Divines, probably. If I had to choose anything else it would be the Daedric queen Mediria, the one who despises the undead. I like her, as well as Azura. They're not evil, either. :)

I'm the one worshipped. Every single person is making generous donations to my church. Although they don't know they did until they return home / wake up and notice the poverty that they got themselves into. Serious answer: To me the Deadra are business partners and the Nine are just nice sculptures with magic effects.

I was sort of more implying just endlessly slaughtering things as a bloodlusted werewolf :P

Well.....time to get back onto the Tundra Defense mod, and kill helpless bandits...

I didn't know you could follow religions in Skyrim.

Anyway neither because it is against my real life religion to follow pagan religions.

My guys almost always a mage so I don't think he would follow any religion, otherwise he'd probably just follow the tribunal/deadra ( he's a dark elf )

Gotta go with Dibella. In addition to being the goddess of love and beauty, one of her cults was devoted to eroticism, while another was devoted to women. This combination would certainly make me want to spend time at the temple.

You know, Im Atheist and I like the religion system in Elder Scrolls, but even if I was Christian or Muslim or Jewish I would still like the religion system in Elder Scrolls because its a game. Its not real. I dont actually worship these Gods. I mean, you (the guy i called a troll) are a perfect example of a person who takes what you do in video games too seriously. I worship Gods IN THE GAME. It has nothing to do with what I do real life.

Yeah, but isn't the basis of religion not being able to tell what's real and what's not?

Anyway neither because it is against my real life religion to follow pagan religions.ShadowMoses900

You can't - and you couldn't in the previous games either, as far as I'm aware.
Although I guess you could do quests for only one Daedra, and then pretend that your character is devoted to that one alone?

Then again, why pick just one?
All of the gods and supernatural entities in the Elder Scrolls franchise exist - you can talk to half of them as it is, and praying to the other half gives you direct physical benefits. Considering how Daedra worshippers frequently get screwed over by their own patrons, and how the nine divines seem to coexist in peaceful inactivity...sticking to just one 'god' seems like a pointless exercise in this universe; especially when a wandering adventure might need the help of multiple Daedra.
