E3 Predictions Thread!!

In preparation for the 2014 Electronic Entertainment Expo, I thought there should be one final thread about predictions, expectations, and other wishful thinking. Use this to state whatever you believe will be shown this E3 whether it be anything from The Division to Shenmue 3.

My predictions:

• The Last Guardian for PS4
• New Star Wars footage or another cancellation
• Half-Life 3
• Fallout 4
• Cyberpunk 2077
• New Assassin's Creed
• More NFL coverage on Xbox One
• New Prince of Persia with the same voice actor as the sixth generation trilogy and The Forgotten Sands
• Mass Effect news
• New Need For Speed

Wishful thinking:

• Shenmue 3
• Zone of the Enders 3 project restarted
• New MGSV: The Phantom Pain footage
• A good DBZ game (I stopped playing the Battle of the Gods demo because it was awful)

I would like to know yours.

There is as much chance of Half Life 3 being revealed on E3 this year, as there is of England winning the World Cup

@BranKetra: I wouldn't say New MGSV: The Phantom Pain footage is wishful thinking. The game is coming out in the next year and Komani might use E3 to reveal a release date. Also, Kojima talked about a having a new trailer coming out soon that might be hard to watch.(because of torture and other hurtful things). They have released a lot of gameplay trailer previously and E3 sounds like the perfect excuse to showcase more.

Shenmue 3

Half Life 3

Theme Hospital 2 (and not a free to play game, but either a download only $20 style game or a full on $50 PC release)

Microsoft having something new to show (Not to hate, but they have kind of shot all their PR already with gameplay trailers and announcements like Forza Horizon 2, what is left now?)

Oh, and on that note, Alan Wake 2

I can say as much , if Halflife 3 is announced during this E3 hell has frozen over and England will win the world cup for the first time since before any of us on this boards parents where even a glimmer in our grandparents eyes :D

But i like your list, Theme Hospital in the old Bullfrog style , not a F2P not a cheap C game, but a fully fledge "the Sims" AAA game style would be awesome and would be a breath of fresh air in a time where all that comes out a FPS or 3rd shooters.

This E3 is going to be blast as so many games are coming. Can't wait!

Fallout 4 would do it for me, I would love to see some Half Life 3 development but don't want to get my hopes up for fear of disappointment. Fallout 4 would require a new engine though, and that would take some time.

Also hanging out for a really good Final Fantasy, recent instalments have been disappointing (Still bought them though =S).

Ill chose one prediction im really confident about from each conference to keep it short and sweet

Sony: We will finally see more of the last gaurdian. The reason they never say its cancelled is because it isn't. They aren't afraid to cancel games as we've seen in the past, so if it was thrown out the door we would already know so.

Microsoft: An Incredibly short teaser for the new gears game that doesn't provide information. The game just recently started development but micrsosft still wants you to know its coming to reassure the "Value proposition" Of the Xbox one.

Nintendo: More zelda will be shown. A couple years back when the Wii u was unveiled a "Next Gen" Zelda demo was shown. No way would that demo be created just to show what a wii u could do, and nintendo knows better then to show something so iconic without backing it up. Expect to see Miyamoto out on the stage discussing the future of the series.

Ubisoft: New splinter cell. This is where my predictions get a little bold. The last two splinter cell games were fairly well receieved and ubisoft is all about continuing big name franchises. I'd expect gameplay.

EA: Mirrors Edge gameplay will be shown extensively. We just recently found out the next battlefield game isn't being developed by the iconic developer DICE but rather the team behind dead space. That leaves one of EA's biggest and most prestigious development teams doing nothing? Wrong. Mirrors Edge will come out swinging at this years conference and I can't wait

New AAA title no one has heard of yet.

I predict by the end of 2014 Ubisoft & Warner will replace EA & Activision as the top two Publisher's.

• PES 15 next gen reveal gameplay
• Metal Gear Solid V gameplay
• The Division and The Crew both get release windows and gameplay trailers
• New Mario Sunshine
• New Zelda game
• AAA game for 3DS
• Rockstar announces new game for next gen
• Destiny shows us deep gameplay trailer
• Batman Arkham Knight shows gameplay/story trailer
• Sony Bend, Santa Monica, Thatgamecompany, Guerilla, Japan Studio, and other studios will show off exclusive PS4 games
• Far Cry 4 get's a big trailer with gameplay
• Assasssin's Cree Comet and Unity both get fully revealed
• Tales of Xillia 2 will be shown off
• Project Beast aka Demon Souls 2 will be shown
• Doom 4 get's revealed
• Bethesda hints at new Fallout game
• Please for the love of god! Show off Prey 2!

That will definitely happen.

There will be montages. Lots and lots of glorious montages.

I predict there will be a lot of games.

And in those montages, vertical slice will be heavily used.

so here the things that I want to see ( and i have some hopes for )

- Halo 5 gameplay + Halo 2 anniversary

- Sunset overdrive , Fable legends and Forza Horizon 2 gameplay and release date

- some old xbox games back : like Perfect dark , Crackdown or phantom dust or maybe even Star wars KOTOR 3 ( I heard xbox is going to have a big third party exclusive so that gave me some hope for Kotor 3 )

- from Sony we'll see Uncharted 4 gameplay probably with mind blowing graphics .

note : I just saw a report on IGN that Last guardian got cancelled ........

- new Mass effect

- Cyberpunk 2077 and The Witcher 3

- new Deus Ex

- MGS 5 trailer

- a Rockstar game maybe ?

- Fallout 4

I'm not getting my hopes too high for any Valve game .
