Ubisoft and Sony won

Lets be honest guys it was a solid tie! Sony/MS both showed good exclusives, good multiplats and way too many cgi trailers.
First off, I was raised on a PS & didn't switch until the 360. I only switched because I had 90% more friends with one.
1. Sony 8.5/10 - I just felt like it was all about moving forward
2. MS 8/10 - Way better than last year, but I felt they listened to gamers to a fault
2. Ubisoft 8/10 - They had just as much content & showmanship to tie with MS
3. Nintendo 8.2/10 - Splatoon & Hyrule Warriors
4.EA 7.5/10 - Unsynchronized smoke, but BF:H was good
My wallet won, for now.
I was expecting this year's E3 to convince me to purchase an XBOX One and Playstation 4, but the lack of first party titles I must play as soon as they're released only supported my decision to upgrade my PC earlier this year.
Halo Collection looks nice, but not a system seller. Sunset Overdrive looks repetitive, Quantum Break will probably find its way to PC sooner or later, Crackdown is a 2016 game, likewise Gears of war 4, Platinum Games' Scalebound is probably late 2015, and so is Halo: Guardians.
Uncharted: A Thief's End is probably late 2015, DriveClub looks nice but not a system seller in my eyes, and The Order: 1886 looks beautiful, but the emphasis on QTEs is a turn-off.
I was hoping for a reason to purchase one console this fall, and another next spring/summer, but since most games I'm interested in will also launch on PC, all I need is a decent gamepad and I'm set.
I'll probably buy the consoles late 2015-early 2016, for less money and with new first party titles, and old ones for cheap.
Microsoft did wonderful this year. If was game after game after game. They were down to the point, fast, and quick. Some of their demos could have been done smoother, but aside that extraordinary press conference.
Sony's first hour was magnificent, they were going strong as they do the same Microsoft did with game after game. Then CEO and President came on, Shawn something. He was an okay public speaker, but he was just dragging on and on (not his fault) and it real bog down the feel of the show.
Ok, just taking everything in, the best games will be playable on both, so that's great news if you're a gamer. Exclusive-wise, MS showed Fable gameplay (which looks great...i love the new direction), but everything else was stuff we saw before or just CG. Sony showed gameplay from their newly announced exclusives LBP3 and Bloodborne, both looking very promising. That makes it pretty much a wash in my book. If you only own one console, you're not missing too, too much.
