I am torn between getting a PS2 + 8 games for £75 - which is a good investment, considering most games are £3 each used,

or

Guild Wars 2 for £32. I played WoW for a month before, and everything I hated about it seems to have been fixed by GW2. Also, no monthly subscription fee.

I know it boils down to what I want, but what would you do if you were in my position?

I'd go with the PS2. The PS2 has such a large library of classic games, you can't go wrong with that.

I'd take the PS2, easy. But then, I hold an innate distaste for MMOs.

No competition, go for the PS2.
