Resurrect? Ever since I got mine in October I've been enjoying the hell out of it. Easily one of the best pieces of hardware I've ever purchased. I don't need GoW when I've got DJMAX, Dracula X and Powerstone.

I can see people who only bought it as a gaming system... but as for music, videos and all its other fantastic features along with games, it is a steal for $200.

The PSP has a killer lineup going for it here in the next few months. Patapon, Wipeout, FF: Crisis Core, and GOW. I can't wait for Patapon especially. If anything, the PSP could use more help in software sales. The hardware sells fine.

I guess you guys never owned a console. The psp's lineup does not even compare to the dreamcast former line up.

The PSP doesn't really need to be resurrected. It sells very well. It just happens to look low in comparison to the DS, but the DS is a complete monster that makes everything look weak in comparison.

I didn't think the PSP was dead. I'm looking forward to God of War, though. I haven't touched my PSP in a while.

I've been extremely happy with my PSP since it launched with Lumines, Wipeout Pure and to a lesser extent Twisted Metal (which wasn't Black, but was good). Its never been much for casual games, but neither have I.

I doubt it, especially with some pretty likely rumors that Chains of Olympus is going to PS2, I think many people who are interested in this game will most likely get it for PS2 instead.

Having both of best handheld worlds is the way to go.

But any handheld with games like Jeanne D`arc or the original FF Tactics is worth having.

Why would you compare them at all? One is a console, one is a portable, they're fundamentally different. The dreamcast lineup stopped being anything special years ago, everything good it ever had has long since been ported, or had a superior sequel made. Even it's recent way past death Japanese release, Triggerheart Exelica, is being brought to XBLA. Aside from the original Shenmue, it hasn't got much of anything to feel especially nostalgic for.

The PSP doesn't exactly need resurrection... but it sure does need something to bring it back into the eye of the mainstream, and GOW might be able to do that.

The PSP doesn't need resurecting. It hasn't even died, or came close. It's just going to give it more a boost then before.

Won't happen. This is a first party game and it's a system seller. Even if there's more money to be made by putting it on the PS2, they won't do it and risk losings potential PSP sales.

Even though the PSP has a niche audience or not the same market like the DS is having, I think the library it has currently and the ones coming out this year is more than enough to make the PSP worth having.
