In reading Jeff's blog I got to see what one of the Burnout devs thinks about all our kvetching and moaning about the demo.

Some highlights,

"'OMG The Crash Mode suXXors'.... Hmm, again, none of you have played it yet."

"For everyone constantly comparing the game to other games rather than see the game for what it is - all I can say is that this game isn't those games."

I thought this whole thing was pretty hilarious. At one point he says something along the lines that people shouldn't judge the final game based on the demo... well, if that is the case, why release the damn thing?

"The demo was made AFTER work on Paradise was completed, so no, we won't be using internet 'feedback' to tune the game."

Well then you see this quote and basing your choice on the demo becomes clear the game is what wethought it was, we had it and we let it off the hook. LOL. I would say the demo does represent the finished product indeed. I know I'm not buying it.

Yeah well, instead of arguing with your fans, perhaps Criterion should realize that a lot of people simply don't like the direction Burnout seems to be going in.

If Burnout's developers want to ignore us lowly gamers, we can return the favor. Maybe the Burnout equivalent of Icon will mean that Criterion will face the same fate EA Chicago did.

I'm sure they'll fix that in the final product, theres no way people are going to put up with that bs, or this series is going nowhere fast.
