Bethesda wtf?!

Cancel Prey 2 because it "wasn't up to quality standards" and let Battlecry through into Beta which apparently is "quality"? HUHHHHHH!!!?!?????

Not that I'm a Bethesda fanboy (I'm quite the opposite) and defending them or something, but there could be a possibilty that Prey 2 really wasn't up to the quality standards and they wanted to prevent releasing a Duke Nukem Forever of their own.

I don't even know what battlecry is. lol

Battlecry is trash.

It is difficult to understand how they can work on a game for 3 years, say they believed in it, then suddenly cancel it for claimed quality issues. Obviously they did not believe in it enough to not let this happen.

I can't that this was something that was big on my wish list, I had really forgotten all about this game actually getting made. While it's unfortunate for those who wanted it I'm sure it wasn't as joyful for Bethesda to make this decision either, after all it was their money that funded this.

They bit off more than they could chew. The game probably had a risible budget. That, and it had nothing to do with the original Prey.

Prey 2 looked super cool too.

I heard rumours that Prey 2 is still being made by a different company. But they're going away from the bounty hunter direction that was originally shown.

all theses canceled projects will turn into betas in the next 2-3 years

They should just finish Fallout 4 already.

i didn't like the original. I wasn't sure why they were gonna make a sequel so this is a smart move. I doubt enough people wanted it.

Prey had some pretty cool ideas. But yea, from what I read, nothing like Prey.

I couldn't get into Prey I tried to like the game but it just didn't appeal to me.

Wait- Prey 2 JUST got cancelled? I thought it got cancelled like 2 years ago? For a laugh, open your Skyrim case and look at the Prey 2 advertisement. Rest in Peace.

Also, people gave a shit about Prey 1? I didn't think anyone did.
