I'm asking what you guys use to record your game play or if you know a good program to use.

I've experimented with a few but the overall experience is getting me annoyed so I need your thoughts please.

Try FRAPS or Taksi. FRAPS works, but you'll need to get the registered version to get anything out of it.

Taksi is good, because it's completely free, but doesn't let you record sound.

I would suggest using FRAPS, as it is the best recorder, but it costs a lot of money. If you want a free (and partially good) alternative, I suggest going with Taksi. If anybody else has opinions on what they use, I would love to hear it. =)

X-Fire is releasing one soon, right now its in Beta, and still has problems, but by Actual release it should be working well.

Nice! I can't wait! Xfire is great at producing this type of material.

Well, if they can make screenshoting software, why not screen recording software? It should be simple, and the only other free alternative is Taksi, which doesn't work well. :(

I lack a TV so I already play my consoles on WinTV and it has a recording app built in.
