Now i am curios Ride
Its no secret that you spend a lot of time on IGN, so what is it that makes you not use their boards also but use gamespots?
Also i wonder why this is even news, does it really come as a surprise that Battlefield 5 will be military like 4?
@Jacanuk
If he stops... I'l die... Surely you don't want that to happen... :(
Nah, but i am just curious since he clearly prefers IGN to gamespot so im wondering why not also the boards.
Not that there is anything wrong with that , its just curiosity

IGN, Dualshockers and other sites are better when it comes to news mate. I don't spend much time on IGN. I just browse through the news and post them here. This is where i hang most of the time. What the hell is your problem with that?

Easy there Ride, it was a question nothing else.
Honestly i couldn't give a crap where you post or spend your time, it was just curiosity since i have noticed that you post a lot from IGN so was wondering what made you come here to post instead of using their boards, since for me if i read IGN a lot more than Gamespot i would also use their boards and not gamespots. But hey we are all different.
What?! A military-themed Battlefield title?! The HELL you say!
I know, right? And I was really looking forward to playing yet another fantasy-themed battlefield.
The boards here are the best on the web, which makes it even more surprising that people spend so much time on neogaf and other boards.
Really? because I've always found people here to be incredible fucking stupid. It's pure stupidity with almost every discussion about gaming.
@Jacanuk: the boards on ign aren't as good as here
Yeah I barely post on the ign boards. The community here is way better.

You must have spent to much time in systemwars then :)
But compared to Neogaf and IGN´s boards this board is an angel among demons.
I don't mean to alarm you EA and Dice, but we do know the difference between a spin off and a main Battlefield game. Just thought I'd let you know, might help you not say painfully obvious things.
@davillain-: yeah i was asking myself that
@Jacanuk: the boards on ign aren't as good as here
Ya so true.

meh i don't care for them
EA has successfully buried the Battlefield franchise, at least for me. There is a 0.000000058% chance that I will purchase another EA game, in other words, not a fucking chance.
then you will be missing out on hardline which actually seems to be a decent fun game.
This is news? A military shooter will be military themed. Who was thinking otherwise?
Some might have expected it to go the COD route
Hopefully they are innovating Battlefield 5 is some unique ways. It's going to be hard to go back to BF when Advanced Warfare and Halo 5 are making player movement so much more enjoyable.

It's gone sci fi and futuristic mate
Why is everyone being sarcastic? They're obviously saying that in case people are worried it'll be like Hardline.

Yeah, that's why they said it. People tend to be sarcastic though
I didn't know that Hardline -wasn't- going to be military-themed so at first I was wondering why this was news. It doesn't make me particularly interested in BF5, but now I'm curious about Hardline.

Hardline is cops and criminals themed

Yeah, I read the article you linked. Hardline sounds like fun.
As if there was any other kind of battlefield?
READING IS HARD!!!!! :(

I really wish we could have a next gen world war two battle field, it seems like world war two is becoming the forgotten genre of shooter games, as everybody seems to want to do modern desert takedown and exo suit beat up. It would be really nice to see battlefield go back to one of its original themes
@The_Last_Ride: Considering the state of Gamespot's boards, I shudder to think what IGN's are like.
THey're not that bad, but they're just very spread out
