Are You a Achievement/Trophy freak

I stopped caring about them in the middle of last gen.

Not really but I like getting those that requires you to beat games on certain difficulty levels.

Ehh, not my thing. I just play the game and do the best I can with it.

I'm more of an Achievement freak although I do like getting me some Trophies too.

They add some challenge for replay value on games worth playing a second time, but are largely forgettable (especially if they are the "you passed the level" type).

I just play games... If I earn some, cool I guess.

It's fun when you hear the little noise when you get a psn trophy, but I don't actively work towards them. Most games throw 90% of the achievements at you just for doing a vanilla relatively thorough play through, feels like.

I fell into this trap before. I was playing Black Flag and cleared an island of activities and collectibles. It gave an awesome sound and the island's icon turned golden showing my 100% completion of that island. After that it was just island after island after island. I'm not sure if I was having fun though but I know I really loved discovering islands and getting the treasure. I'm actually quite confused if I was having fun doing that tbh. What's so fun about opening chests that I ended up collecting all of them?

But yeah, I tried to do that with AC Rogue and didn't have the same level of enthusiasm. I decided I'd only do the fun activities from now on like fighting legendary ships, taking over forts and anything stealth related.

This, "BUT" from what I read, The Order 1886 has an "EASY" Platinum trophy...so this will probably be my first and only time trying to get one.

I used to be, but not anymore. I care more about gameplay and co-op and having fewer RPG elements in my games.

Yep. Over 5700 trophies and 93 Platinums right now. Trophy hunting has encouraged me to play more games and get more out of the games I've played over the years, so I don't see myself stopping anytime soon. Obviously this sort of thing isn't for everyone, I'm in a fairly small minority of gamers who really like to collect trophies/achievements.

@Archangel3371: same here I had my 360 since it came out i had a ps3 3 years ago it had a video out problem with the hdmi so i sold it last moth i bought a broken ps3 for $25 it had rrod fixed it so what im saying is that im new to PSN again.

@BboyStatix: Ya some games dont give me the feel to go Achievement hunting But i like the PSN trophy system its pretty cool with different ranks of difficulty

@dylandr: I remember xbox rewards would give you a free "gift" on your birthday after getting like 10000 gamerscore never saw any gift lol and this was over a year ago

@SoNin360: Me on xbox but i stopped last year on collecting since i game on multiple consoles but if i can earn it i play it till i earn it.
