As for engines? I suppose it depends. I will almost Wager that they are using an updated version of the really altered gamebyro engine. Although there migh be a chance that they'd be using id tech 6 if animators and programmers can get a handle of it (and it can support a game like FO4 to begin with).
It is noteworthy that Bethesda is swiching over to tech 5/6 for some of thier games, so maybe they want the same kind of eninge like EA is planning with Frostbyte.
In truth though, no one knows anything, as nothing has been publicly said, at best heresay and gut feelings.
Does anyone know what Bethesda is working on? and if they will be using/creating a new engine? I searched and found nothing?
As far as I know they are working on Fallout, my friend also told me about Bethesda's progress on their next works.
Yes! Correct. Besthesda works on Fallout as of the moment. But about the new engine. As I have checked, no information were given. Well hopefully the will provide any status.
