Anybody else hear about Obduction? (Myst Successor)

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/cyaninc/obduction/posts/661237 Massive fan of the Myst franchise and only found out today that a spiritual successor is in the works and set to be released at the end of this year. Guess that's the cons of only using a site that posts 60 articles a week over some redundant game like Destiny or other completely irrelevant news that has little to do with gaming... Would've loved to have dropped a couple hundred on this...

Awesome! I love those games. This is news to me as well. It is unfortunate what has happened to Cyan, and that any projects Miller announces up with have to be crowdfunded now. To be fair though, adventure games aren’t really that popular, but still that is ridiculous this site has no mention of it.

Actually this was discussed on the forums quite a bit when it was new information (about a year and a half ago).

That said, if you have a suggestion for something that you'd like Gamespot to report on then you can always email news@gamespot.com. However, since this Kickstarter ended in 2013 I wouldn't exactly call this a "hot tip".
