Looks very good and I like how the deluxe edition comes with a little mini alien. Well done OP!

The core gameplay is going to be stealth. I've been waiting for a game exactly, and when I say "exactly" I mean it literally, for a game to come out like this. I hear the learning curve is pretty steep. This is a must-have for any stealth/action fan. Period. If you're over 18 that is. :P

I'd love this to be good, but the Rebellion+Sega logos send shivers down my spine. We'll see.

Well folks, it looks like Aliens vs Predator has been rated Mature by the ESRB. It's no longer AO, which means more sales. =D

"This is a first-person shooter in which players assume the role of one of three protagonists: a human marine, an Alien, or a Predator (alien-like, but with dreadlocks). Players find themselves in deep space, on the futuristic frontier of human colonization; they find themselves seeking out missing colonists (in the case of the marines), defending their queen and propagating the species (the Aliens), or protecting the secrets of a mysterious pyramid (the Predators). As a marine, players use machine guns, sniper rifles, pistols, flamethrowers, and explosives to shoot and kill hostile enemies; the combat is frenetic and the blood splatter is fantastical—green or acidic acid emitting from the creatures. Also, a new multiplayer preview was just released a couple of days ago from Game Headz. They are saying great things! Man I cannot wait! Haven't been this excited for a game in a long time.

I don't know, a Predator ripping off a marine's head and spinal cord (all in first person view), probably Aliens eating people's heads (again: in first person) like in AvP2... I mean, it was gruesome enough back in 2001, are we sure a M rating is better than AO? Just saying.Black_Knight_00

Well, the movies were rated R. Ages 17+. Same for the games. I don't see an issue as far as age is concerned. I think it would have to be worse to make that 1-year age difference IMO.

Alex Moore, the lead designer for AvP, has announced that there will be a demo. So for those leery about getting the game, you're in luck because you get to try out the demo first!

Im excited for AVP, and I cant wait to see the game run at 1080p with all the DX11 bells and whistles when I get it.

I stumbled across some multiplayer gameplay footage on Youtube from the EuroGamer Expo. This should give some of you that don't know much about the multiplayer(haven't read any of the previews :P) an idea on how it all plays out.

I went to my local eb games and they dont have a sku for the hunter edition. It looks like I can only get the regualr editon which is rattling.

This video really goes to show how much Rebellion is building off their original game, which is a very good thing. And speaking of the original game, Rebellion has re-released their original AvP title on Steam.The re-release is to promote the new AvP. The game comes along with all 3 campaigns of the three races, and a single-player skirmish mode. All of this is available for 5.99 and is also compatible with the Xbox 360 controller. A free patch will be released for the multiplayer.

While we haven't heard much on the co-op on AvP, other than the basic gameplay, IGN has provided us a hands-on to the Co-op. So check it out if you're a fan of co-op!

I read this on the 360 forum that this game was made by the guys who did Rogue Warrior. After reading that, I'm not so sure about this game anymore. But hope it turns out good though, just feeling doubtful now.ASK_Story

While I understand that may worry you, Rebellion has been working on this game for over 2 years, they are not on a tight budget like normal "movie to game" adaptations, and judging by every single hands-on thus far, the game is going to be very good. The gameplay trailers are promising as well. You haven't watched the movies or read any hands-ons have you.
