are you talking about the wireless network connector or the usb thing for the computer that lets you use the wireless controller on the pc? if you talking about the network connector it is pretty easy you just have to plug it in and connect to a wirless router

I hate wires. I want a future with absolutely NO wires! Well, I really want a now, with no wires, but we're just not there yet...
Assuming you're talking about the 360 Wireless Network Adaptor, yes it does provide a good signal. However unless you're really worried about connection issues you're better off buying the Nintendo Wireless USB adaptor. It doesn't have quite the range but its also $70 cheaper.
